When people remember the "good old days" mostly they are remembering being young.
I remember segregation. I remember terribly polluted air and water. I remember that a woman's place was in the home. I remember the cold war and bomb shelters. In grade school we had bomb drills instead of fire drills. On and on. The Republicans can have their Good Old Days they want to go back to.
